How to Schedule Posts on Facebook Page

Facebook Page is a very helpful tool for you as a business owner. It's a great platform for you to reach more of your potential clients, and to connect with your customers but, you can only do so if you consistently post relevant content on your Facebook Page. Thus, knowing how to schedule posts on your Facebook Page is important. It will help you save a lot of time since, instead of posting your content manually every day, you can plan, and schedule your content ahead of time, for a week or even for a month.


If you don't have a Facebook Page yet for your business, check this blog first by Hootsuite, on how to create a Facebook Page, or you can send me a message here for assistance, before proceeding on the below steps.


So, here are the steps on how to Schedule Posts on your Facebook Page using your Laptop/Desktop.



1. Log in to your Facebook Account


Login to your Facebook account which your business' Facebook Page is connected.



2. Go to Pages


Once logged-on, on the left side of your Facebook Home, select Pages, or at the top of your Facebook, next to Home is a Flag Icon, you can also select that (refer to below image).

3. Select the name of Your Business' Facebook Page


You will then be directed to the lists of your Facebook Pages. Select the Business Page where you're going to schedule a post (if you have multiple Facebook pages, but if only one, select that Page).



4. Select Publishing Tools option under Manage Page


Once you selected your business' Facebook Page, you will then be directed to the Home Page of your Facebook Page. Under Manage Page, which is located on the left side of your Facebook Page's home page, select the Publishing Tools option (with a red box on the below image).

5. Select Create Post


Once you selected Publishing Tools, you will be directed to your Published Posts. This is where you will schedule your posts. Select Create Post (refer to the below image).

6. Create your Posts


Now, it's time for you to create your post. Here are the steps on how to create a post.


a. Write the Caption of your post

b. Attached the Photo/Video - when you select Photo/Video, it will give you an option to Upload Photos/Videos, Upload multiple videos, Create a Photo Album, Create a Photo Carousel, Create a Slideshow, Create an Instant Experience. Just select what type your content is.

c. Go to News Feed Option (red box on the first image below)

d. Click Share Now and a drop-down menu will appear

e. Select Schedule and the second image will appear

f. Select a Date and Time of your Publication preference (on the field with a red box, 2nd image below)

g. Then, click the Schedule button.




Your post is now Scheduled, and you can verify it under Scheduled Posts on your Facebook Page Publishing Tools (refer to below image). You can do the same process for the other posts you wanted to schedule ahead.
